Repairs: R900.00 per hour (minimum charge of R450.00)
Emergency Repairs
Done while you wait, including re-straightening and re-alignment of bent keys, re-seating pads, replacement of springs, and similar minor repairs.
Labour: R1,100.00 per hour.
Please Note: Due to the varying condition of instruments received for servicing, maintenance pricing is determined according to the instrument’s overall condition and the labour required to restore proper playing condition. A quotation will be provided after inspection.
Maintenance Service
This service includes the removal of all working parts, valves and tuning slides. The instrument is cleaned, washed and all corrosion removed from the tubing, valves, valve casings and slides. Minor repairs are carried out, water key corks replaced, and the instrument is reassembled and lubricated.

Major Service
Includes all necessary major repairs such as re-straightening bent valves and tubing, re-soldering loose stays, braces and tubes, freeing stuck tuning slides, removing dents, detecting leaks, complete valve work with hand lapping for smooth valve action, and replacing felts, corks and springs to restore the instrument to excellent playing condition.

Complete Overhaul
A complete strip-down of the instrument, removal of all dents, major repairs, replacement of missing parts, resurfacing of the metal to a high-polish finish, and silver plating or lacquering where required. Valve rebuilding, including copper and nickel plating, is also available.
Please Note: Replacement of missing parts is not included and will be quoted separately.
